Bridges represent an important and major investment in all infrastructural works worldwide. These important investments are exposed to the elements twenty-four (24) hours a day, seven (7) days per week, such as:
- Calcium hydroxide
- Chloride ion
- Rain and ultra-violet rays of the sun
- Heavy traffic and other chemicals.
It is imperative that these important structures are protected. If not, it would increase capital and infrastructure spending tremendously.
